Getting to Costa Rica:
There are many daily flights on the major carriers to San Jose and Liberia from North America and Europe. We would be happy to offer suggestions.

Nosara is on the Pacific Ocean, about l00 miles west of San Jose. The Nicoya Peninsula is about 100 miles long and Nosara is about 2/3 down.. 30 miles North of Samara and about 35 South of Tamarindo. We suggest a book: "Choose Costa Rica" to get a feel for the country and answer most of your general questions.

Getting to Nosara:
There are three main ways to travel to Nosara from San Jose or Liberia.

Rental Car or Driver and Car (driving)- you can drive to Nosara from San Jose (capital city) in approximately 5 hours, Driving allows you the maxium flexibility (for surf boards too) to explore and enjoy Costa Rica.

Bus- Buses leave San Jose daily at about 6:15 a.m. and arrive in Nosara around 12:00 p.m. The buses are inexpensive (around $10 each way)

Air- There are two commuter airlines that fly to Nosara and nearby airports. This is about a 45 minute flight and the cost is approximately $90 per person, one way. Charter flights also available.
